Cryptocurrencies are evolving quickly, but it's hard for most people to get started. There are not resources that are easy to learn, and many people are worried about safety. Cryptocurrency platforms can also be confusing.
I conducted user research to explore the potential needs and pain points of users within the context of a cryptocurrency exchange platform. The platform aims to provide a user-friendly, educational, and secure environment for investors. This research aimed to gain insights into user expectations and challenges, in order to inform the platform's design and development.

After designing the wireframes and creating a prototype, 5 candidates participated in a usability study, providing valuable feedback to enhance the platform's user interface and functionality.
Participants were asked to complete tasks such as creating an account, exploring educational resources, transferring funds and setting up security features.
The results showed that some adjustments would be necessary for a better user experience.
After the usability study, the user interface was improved by displaying transaction fees and the user's available balance. Users can also access tooltips to assist them with their tasks, resulting in an improved platform experience.
Categories make it easier for cryptocurrency exchanges users to learn. They help people in finding what they need more quickly and make using the platform more enjoyable.
This experience showed how important it is to focus on users, be secure, learn and be adaptable, and keep up with industry trends. The crypto industry is always changing, and the learning journey continues as it evolves.
